big storms like this always make me feel so worried about everything. and how terrifying it must be to be somewhere dark, and the eerie, heavy silence that can come after it. i will be lighting candles for the people that passed and the people whose homes and security have been left a mess. ugh, i feel all icky. and all i know is what the tv screen tells me, and that’s unsettling. if you’re on the east coast, i’m thinking of you.
